Men’s Health

Research shows that men are less likely than women to see a doctor. It also shows that men have worse health outcomes than women, especially men of color. At Total Health Care, we are working to change this. We are here to help you live a longer, healthier life through proactive preventive care, early detection and high quality treatment.

  • Regular preventive check-ups to help you improve your health and reduce premature death and disability
  • Age-appropriate screenings—such as blood pressure, cholesterol and colon screenings—as part of your regular check-up
  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions such as urinary difficulties
  • Chronic disease management for ongoing health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, HIV, AIDS and Hep C
  • Coordinated care with our on-site specialty care providers, including dental care, substance abuse treatment, behavioral health care, infectious disease care and more
  • Referrals to the additional screenings and medical specialists you need, from cardiologists to orthopedists
  • Same-day appointments for prompt treatment when you’re sick
  • Prescriptions for antibiotics and daily medications, which can be filled at our on-site pharmacies
  • Education and guidance on men’s health topics like prostate health and nutrition
