Men's Health

Regular check-ups and age-appropriate screenings can help you improve your health and reduce premature death and disability.

Did you know?

  • Men are less likely to see a doctor
  • Men die at a younger age than woman
  • The leading causes of death among men are heart disease and cancer
  • Men have worse health outcomes than women, especially men of color

Some of the health conditions and diseases that affect men can be prevented, and early detection and treatment of certain conditions can increase your chances of having a longer, more productive life.

Usually, men choose not to see a doctor, especially for yearly exams. But at Total Health Care, we are committed to caring for our male patients. We recommend annual physicals, which include screenings for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart issues and prostate and urological concerns. We also connect you to experts who offer colon cancer screenings, mental health services and insurance assistance if needed.

As with all of our patients, we offer same-day appointments for illness. We work closely with you to manage issues like diabetes, heart disease, urinary difficulties, prostate and colon cancer. Medications are filled at our pharmacy, quickly and easily.

At Total Health Care, we are here for you.
